The Revd Kerry Buttram was licensed as Assistant Chaplain at Christ Church Amsterdam on Sunday 2 July by Archdeacon Sam Van Leer. The service was followed by a lunch to celebrate.

Kerry has been serving at Christ Church Amsterdam (the chaplaincy of Christ Church Amsterdam, City Centre, South and South East) as PTO (Permission To Officiate). This means having permission to lead services and administer communion. This was in an interim capacity preparing the chaplaincy for a new chaplain. However, after the new Chaplain's arrival (The Revd David Macha was licensed in January) he and the church asked Kerry to continue ministry and become Assistant Chaplain.

Kerry and his wife Cynthia are so thankful to God for providing this wonderful opportunity to continue serving in this great city. All praise to Him!
