It was an joyful occasion when on Sunday 6 September, a member of St. John's Church, Izmir was baptised.

Jayda had been part of the Alpha group. During April and May, the group had been meeting on Zoom, twenty times, twice a week. Jayda was the only member of the group who had not yet been baptised.

The whole Alpha group is pictured in front of the church and pictured below are the Revd James Buxton and Jayda. Covid restrictions were, of course, in place.
