Adrian and Ruth Whitehall

Many of the usual venues where chaplains hang out are still closed because of Covid regulations. However, Holy Trinity was open on Sunday where we received a very warm welcome and vibrant worship. It was Jules Wilson's last service before his vacation. We were introduced to the congregation and Jules asked us to do a presentation for the church of our previous overseas mission work before we leave Corfu. This has been scheduled for next Friday evening.
We initially had problems with our accommodation but Stavros kindly re-housed us further up the road just before the village of Gouvia opposite the Marina.  It has turned out to be a good place for meeting people. The adjacent apartments have a bar and swimming pool which we are free to use. We have become friendly with the owner and have shared with him why we are here. In particular, we have met a young Frenchman who has been very interested to hear about our faith and almost every day I have had meetings with him to talk about the Good News. His name is Tristan. Please pray for him.
